This two day music festival set in scenic and historic Port Gamble overlooking the Hood Canal and Olympic Mountains, will feature some of the top Blues ... and Rock bands in the Northwest. You can catch young guitar virtuoso Cody Rentas, who is blowing away audiences throughout the country with his electrifying blues guitar abilities. You'll also be able to see two of Seattle’s hottest rock acts, Midstokke and Perfect Pistol, and the outstanding blues mastery of Loose Gravel and the Quarry, the Front street Cats, the Ben Rice Band, and the Julie Duke Band, all well known, with tons of awards under their belts, and with huge followings throughout the northwest. You'll be able to catch the high energy rock performances of local Kitsap County local favorites, cROCKERS, the Drive, Without Warning, No Baggage, and a new group with a big sound, the Hyde Group. Also performing will be Eric Fridrich, whose Afro-Cuban Blues style has electrified audiences around the country. Eric's non-profit organization, Savor the Sound will be the beneficiary of this two day event.

Savor the SoundThis year’s event will benefit the Savor the Sound organization, an organization that was founded by Blues artist Eric Fridrich. Eric, who will also be a performer at the festival, founded the organization with the hope of engaging communities to support music education. Working in partnership with parents, teachers, schools, businesses and artists, Savor the Sound inspires, educates and supports youth via sustainable music education advocacy programs. By bringing music to the youth, Savor the Sound hopes to grow social change and enhance cultural awareness in our society. Besides sponsoring the Beer Garden for the 21+ crowd, Savor the Sound will also host a root beer garden, bouncy house, face painters, and an instrument "petting zoo" for kids, making this event a truly "family Friendly" outing.
